Manchester United and Chelsea must wait until later this week for a decision from the Football Association on when their FA Cup quarter-final replay will take place.

Chelsea recovered from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The date could hinge on Chelsea's Europa League result against Steaua Bucharest on Thursday.

Defeat would allow the replay to take place in the first week of April. Victory would cause a fixture pile-up.

The international break runs from 18-27 March and it is considered impractical to cancel Premier League fixtures due to be played this weekend.

Chelsea would need to play a Europa League quarter-final in the two midweek dates before the FA Cup semi-final weekend of 13 and 14 April.
After the game on Sunday, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson said: "I don't know when the replay will be played, probably May!"

Cant see Chelsea going out this Thursday, so this is the beginning of their fixture pile-up.
Really cant see the FA wanting this replay to put back to the date of the semis, so this game looks like it could be Tuesday 2nd April.
Doubt Chelsea will want the 9th although that could benefit us if they were to lose to United, meaning they would have played the Tuesday and Thursday before our game on the Sunday.
Either way it looks like they will be playing Tuesday-Thursday-Sunday one of those weeks

#PhilNevilleBehaviour Promising himself a Kit Kat if he can do a successful pass forwards to a man in Blue.

#PhilNevilleBehaviour having the slowest step over in the world

Being a 36 year old man and having blonde highlights #PhilNevilleBehaviour

#PhilNevilleBehaviour Pre match: eating protein bars, doing yoga, bums and tums. match day: *Trips over lace, costs us a goal*

Performing such a brick dive you force your embarrassed manager to publicly apologise #PhilNevilleBehaviour

Scoring for united & liverpool whilst playing for Everton #PhilNevilleBehaviour

Making step overs look difficult. #PhilNevilleBehaviour

#PhilNevilleBehaviour Self proclaiming yourself "fizzer"

#PhilNevilleBehaviour Backing off the winger so much you might as well be in the Street End with us all.

Managing to get your own fans to hate you in one day #PhilNevilleBehaviour

The ability to run into the opposing 18 yard box then turn around and pass it back to Howard #PhilNevilleBehaviour

#PhilNevilleBehaviour Treating himself to a KitKat Chunky IF we win, not WHEN we win. Negative taco.

in tears at some of these. brilliant.

Wish he'd do that when up against Bale though 8-[

That's a crushing loss for Inter on the weekend. Home to Bologna and a win keeps them one point back of AC Milan. Now the gap is 4 pts and they've got close company from Lazio, Fiorentina and Roma. Their fans'll be in a foul mood on Thursday. Not that that's a bad thing.

So, how come it's big news in the Daily Fail when Chelsea MIGHT have to play four games in 10 days? Our next round of the Europa League starts April 4, then it's Everton on the 7th, EL 2nd leg on the 11th and Chelsea away on the 14th. We HAVE to play four in 10 days, and travel could take us to Russia for one. No big whoop, apparently.

Where does the Phil Neville abuse stem from.. I never realised they didn't like him? Have they never liked him or has he just gone downhill this year?

I cannot stand Phil Neville. Mainly due to the penalty he gave away against Romania at Euro 2000. In the 89th minute that led to a 3-2 defeat when all we needed was a draw to go through.

Further thinking into the Chelsea-United replay, think it will have to be played on either Tues 2nd or Weds 3rd, cant be the week after as I doubt that would leave enough time for the victor to sell its tickets for the game at the weekend.

So if Chelsea progress this Thursday they will have to play 4 times in 8/9 days
Southampton a Sun 31/3
United repaly h Tues 2/4
EL 1st leg Thurs 4/4
Sunderland h Sun 7/4

Would help them if they didnt progress, no lose sitaution for us as I see it. Go out - one less big gun to worry about in EL
Go through - major fixture pile up looming
