This equals the Premier League record for most ever first half goals scored - level with the seven netted in Blackburn-Leeds (September 1997) and Derby-Bradford (April 2000).

We scored eight goals in less than 45 minutes against Wigan a few years back, but that was the 2nd half.

I met the guy responsible for the Football First programming last year, a chance conversation in my local coffee shop in Southampton!

He said that Sky actually get second pick for Game Of The Day behind MOTD, they aren't supposed to lead with the same game.

IIRC there were 9 goals in the 2nd half when we beat Reading 6-4.Pretty sure it was only 1-0 at HT
