Was just about to post this.

IMO Mourinho is showing what a poor man manager he is. There is NO WAY modric should be playing ahead of Ozil. The guy assisted more than xavi and iniesta combined in 2012 ffs. Modric's game is all about getting the ball from the defence, finding the pockets and getting the ball forward, he needs space to work. IMO he is showing his limitations at CAM, even if he will replace Alonso eventually.

Mourinho is risking a massive backlash, he could easily lose ozil if he doesnt get him playing soon.

And on alonso, i'd happily have him at Spurs. Imagine a midfield 3 of Sandro Alonso and Dembele...

Yea I'm stunned he's playing modric acm, he's a good acm, but a world class deep playmaker.

This is their bench today. No out and out strikers so they can't have any fit, Suso is probably the closest thing.
