I like the look of this

Looks good. I really liked Man of Steel which seems to still have people divided.

Superman comics can get quite whacky, he has a lot of villians they've not really tried out in films, this seems to be going down that route, which should be interesting.

Does look a bit bloated with characters though.

Very good films.

Less known but:

I saw the devil
Triangle (if you get it, it is a master piece of writing. Might need a couple of watches and pen and paper). Think you can still watch it free on youtube.
Man bites dog.
Thanks for the heads up.

I will be checking those out.

This looks goof fun

I introduced my middle boy to zombie movies there about 3 weeks ago. I let him pick which one. He went with World War Z, which is a decent enough flick I guess (though nothing like the book!). So a week later I said let's watch another and I went for 28 Days Later. He got up and walked out after about 15 minutes saying it was boring. Kids, eh? I have work to do. .

Hahaha

This weekend I'm planning to watch Onibaba the old Japanese horror, no chance the kids will get that one

Some real good films on TV over Christmas, looking forward to watching LA Confidencial, Big Sleep and Citizen Kane again. Unbelievably my wife watched the Wizard of Oz for the first time this week.
I haven't watched Citizen Kane. I always meant to but somehow never did for one reason or another. I won't let this Christmas go by without watching it.

So, tried watching fargo last weekend and gave up after 30 mins.
I think this is another big lebowski, dreadful film that I just don't understand the appeal of.

My xmas and new year watch list is:

Barbarian
The Addiction
Genevieve
A Canterbury Tale
The Thing
The Iron Giant
The Young Poisoner's Handbook
Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer
Akira
Lake Mungo
Good Vibrations
A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night
Godzilla Minus One
Free Fire
Baby Driver
Nope
Cold War
Petite Maman
All Quiet On The Western Front
The Innocents (2021)
Harvest
Salo

I've never seen any of these before, so hopefully a few good ones in there.

Fargo is quality, I watched it on a flight to Canada in the winter and a few peaks over Greenland on flight to see the snow, felt atmospheric. I have never seen the Big Lebowski all the way through, that one I don't get, I get it but don't get it if that makes sense. Abit like Wes Anderson films, I think many of them are films for film sake
