What I really wanted to say regarding southstand was that the condescending response wasn't warranted (I assure you my confusion was genuine) and that a helpful New Year's resolution would be "to no behave like a prick".
I realize that by playing dumb, I was only feeding the trolls which was my mistake. No smiley face, I'll take the infraction points.

Hoping bae is fit for coventry, would be nice for him to get some minutes. Naughton and Verts make me worry every time the ball goes to the RM of the opposing team..

Proper player supporting Bale? Sorry but ekotto has never been the root cause of Bales effectiveness, certainly not more so than Vertonghen. One of those coincidences people label as fact, with no actual grounding in football

Forget it mate people think he's the best ever left back your fighting a losing battle. Funny thing is I like him I think he's ok. Most overrated player on here though? Definitely.

I don't doubt BAE's weaknesses at the back, but his real strength is in going forwards. Range of passing and understanding with Bale and Ade, for support play and through balls. The lack of creativity this season coincides with BAE's absence from the team.

overrated? perhaps. but its too early to judge him as he's been mostly absent under AVB's tenure. Given the emphasis on the wing backs supporting the attack in AVB's setup, I expect it to play to BAE's strengths.
