Conte and Paratici seem to have wanted him since before they were at Spurs and have tried for him in this and last transfer window so it will be disappointing if we don’t secure him. Especially as the fee doesn’t seem to be prohibitive.

Might depend on how much Milan push for him if he prefers Italian football / life

It’s Roma putting the Milan link out there to tease us because Milan seem to be after Pulisic who is available

Discussions. Quite a long way from actually going there.

Seems like Roma wants to cash in. Seems like he wants to leave. If no bigger club comes in for him and this is his only option... Who knows what happens.

Get these signings from time to time. So much money in the PL even at teams lower down the table, they're effectively competing with CL/Europa League clubs in many countries for players.
