The story on him from the local paper out there was that a deal to sign him would be a loan fee of around 5m euros and then an obligation kicking in next summer that would see us pay 2 further installments of 10m euros. He is a tenacious midfield player with decent ability on the ball. Would be a massive upgrade on watching Harry Winks get beaten at will by whichever opponent comes up against him in midfield.
 
For that kind of money it’s Bissouma money

And Brighton would need to be happy to sell

Bissouma would be at least twice that I think..... probably even more as even if a club offered £40m then I don't think Brighton would sell.

certainly don’t need to sell
I’m not anti getting in a more functional player like this chap but I’m not a fan of buying players who can do a job anywhere… they tend to be stop gaps

He's not going to be a Winks replacement, is he? My reading of it is that he'd be cover for one of the wide/advanced positions in a midfield 3. More of a replacement for Sissoko.
