Either way it boils down to the fact that Everton were desperate for the palace player. I am pretty sure Daniel Levy did not accept their first bid, and the fact is he has not started many games this year in the league, because Poch has preferred to go with other options. Chadli was not in high demand so his price had to be lower, elementary supply and demand
 
wonder if we'll be getting a WBA player in return before the window closes for a similarly good price...

Wanyama is decent cover for Dier. But bar a bit of brickness by Palace, we've had 3 draws with him in the side. I'd've rather have kept Bentaleb.

No - Alder is the 3rd best CB we've had in my lifetime (after King and Mabbutt)
 
Farewell to Shagger Chadli...a supreme talent of infuriating inconsistency/semi-application. An echo of the type of past cheeky charmer we'd have indulged for far too long. But entertaining and, at times, brilliant nonetheless.
