Morgan Gibbs-White

Think you can add Gray to that list... TF clearly had plans for him when he wanted him for Brentford

Yep I forgot about him rather than not seeing him as an option!

There's potential there, he could grow in to the position but last season's showings in midfield weren't quite there yet. A lot of pressure on his shoulders if we don't make a signing in that position.

Gibbs-White definitely brings a bit more tenacity than Maddison or Kulu would, I am a fan, it'll just be interesting to see how the other pieces fall into place.

Looks like a good window so far. I’d had my doubts about Levy and had resigned myself to him not making moves but I hope he’s able to keep this momentum going

Critical position as Kante and Rodri have demonstrated, I don't think Gray has the experience to fill that role yet, he may in the future, just want to see him make a position for him self.

All of a sudden we may have the basis of what could well become something special:

Kulusevski
Kudus
Odobert
Tel
Moore
Solanke
Morgan Gibbs-White
Bergvall
Gray
van de Ven
Udogie
Pedro
Romero
Vicario
Son
Spence
Romero and Vic are the older statesmen (assuming son isn’t here beyond a season)

Could be because there aren't many genuine candidates, plenty of hard running cloggers but i don't think thats what we need.
There really isn’t
Hence why I think playing a different way is viable and sensible
I do think that George Abbott can fill that role in a. Few years. I’ve seen him play youth football and his football intelligence was exceptional. He isn’t ready yet of course
Gray is an option and with the signing we’re making I can see Bergvall playing there too

I like George Abbott and agree, good team player with all the attributes, he's managed to keep out of the limelight, hopefully he can impress Frank.
