Morgan Gibbs-White

Not a coincidence they put his photo there, of course. Probably mostly optics, although it can also make it harder to villify MGW whenever the transfer goes through, as he's now officially at least happy to resume Forest training.

Speaks of great attitude to me

Not doing a Kane and coming back 3 days before the first game or doing Gary Neville interviews...........

Do you really believe that Levy would leave us open to that? It's just the Forest chairman throwing a strop.

Anyone could leave us that open, especially if you're mentioning the ambition Levy did in the interview with VV.

I agree, I think Forest are throwing their toys out of the pram.

Sadly, we're now going to have to wait and see, could really drag or, worse, not happen at all (only if there's credible evidence in Forest's claim).

They will be contacting City asking if they want MGW for £70m whilst making MGW sign a new contract without a release clause in it.

As I suggested, this is going to be heavily delayed as Nottingham Forest are not going to play ball.

If the club breaches the players contract the player has the right to terminate. Under fa and fifa rules.
So it will be delayed but forest aren't holding all the cards.

Didn't know you could make someone sign a contract if they don't want to, they could offer him big salary to tempt him but then I would suspect he would want to have a release clause that gave him greater control over terms of his future.

It can only go on for so long though as the clause has been met, the PL will make a swift decision on that, so given its less than a week since the interest and bid, I would imagine it will happen fast than say Mbuemo to United is taking

And still doesn't take away from fact we met the clause and terms with player is agreed...........I think people are getting into unnecessary scenarios in their heads
