That's a nice narrative but not true. There were fans on there at the time saying they shouldn't have sold him, whilst others were claiming he's ineffective and only plays when he wants to etc. It's now the same fans who are saying I told you we shouldn't have sold him.

And in general people are getting way too excited too early. There's a load of Frank is a great coach, Kudus is amazing after one and a half competitive games one of which was against Burnley at home. Of course we can enjoy a nice performance and undoubtedly Kudus gives us something we havent got but this is why players end up getting overrated when people go overboard over a small sample size.

Players and managers have had a great first season here, then it all goes pear shaped. In fact same for Kudus at West Ham (yes there are reasons for that and doesnt mean will happen here). It's been a lovely start, but there will be far greater challenges ahead....
