Mikey Moore

Slow start, not involved much. When he was he wasn't looking to take anyone on.

2nd half he was more lively and had some good runs
Hoping just lacking game time at the moment
Agreed. Thought he was one of the best players on the pitch when he was taken off (probably for fitness reasons). Taking players on and often getting past players with ease. Created some openings too.

Although a slow start he didn't look out of place in the first half either.

Yep, I thought Moore was one of only a few to grasp the nettle in the 2nd half. He was demanding the ball and trying to drive us forward.

None of the front 3, including Moore performed well. It may be due to lack of match sharpness for Moore after being out so long, but really think a loan for the rest of the season would do him good.
You weren't impressed with him in the second half?

To me he's in a similar position to where Bergvall was a couple of months ago. Getting some game time, mostly cup games, but also some PL minutes. Somewhat fluctuating performances. Time will tell if more games will help him step up now or if it's too soon for him for us.

I'm guessing he'll stay around until the summer at least. I also think he'll prove a useful option in that time.

i thought he needed to go off early in the second half for doing nothing much - then he started to weave his magic a couple of times before being subbed - at that point i wanted him to stay on :)

Mostly kept it simple in the first half. But still, tried to make things happen at times, found team mates with his passes.

Then another gear in the second half. Started going past players with ease. Could easily have had an assist.

When/if he can do what he does in that second half more often and against PL level opposition he'll get regular game time. Personally I don't think that's far off.

Just watching that video, his passing was good.

There was one in to Maddison that took out 3 Tamworth players.
No help from the ref, would plenty of times and only got one for being kicked in the shin...

Werners performance was better than Moores (low bar).
Swap their performances, and everyone would be saying Moore was unlucky not to get a couple of goals.
A player who usually scores but misses a couple is unlucky.

A player who usually misses and misses a couple is just not good enough.

No. He was playing as a winger and the only cross of note was the one for Werners header that was cleared off the line. Went by his man a couple of times but did nothing with it. This was against a non-league team, not a top team. I'm not singling him out, the rest of the forwards were awful.

He's obviously a real talent, just not ready for PL football yet. He'll most likely only get a few mins here and there if he stays, especially as he needs to get back some sharpness. Getting regular game time in the championship would be more beneficial for him.

I think he's too young to go on loan and it's better to keep him where his development can be managed. He'll get game time when hes ready with us.
