Luka Modric
Buy and loan back for the rest of the season might work.

Very good player who can play LB as well.
Didn't know that. No brainer then.
AWB looks expensive to me as the guy offers nothing in the opposition half... he is the anti AurierWan-Bissaka now looks cheap at £50+m
Arrons @£45m not a bad price.
No need to loan him back.

that's a little harsh - I think he is very good at his primary job!
attacking will come

Right now Liverpool have the best right back as his attacking is beyond world class but his defending is solid. One over compensates for the other in big way making TAA that good
If/when they go down, we won't be the only club interested in Aarons so I don't think it would be vastly reduced.45m seems a touch on the steep side, however I'm not sure of many others out there that are gettable. There is also the fact that Norwich seem destined to go down and Levy may use this as a reason to wait until the summer to look for a cut price deal.
But they really are very different styles of player. Wan-Bissaka seems incredibly gifted and aware with respect to the defensive side of the game but much less able than Aarons when it comes to pushing forward, making passes and giving an attacking option, which so many teams want from a player in that position right now.Have only seen him 3 times and I haven't been overly impressed, certainly not enough to part with £45m. Wan Bissaka at a similar age went for £50m and you can see he is a proper defender, still has a lot to learn going forward but defensively he knows his stuff and rarely gets beaten by the opposition player. Should have got him last summer.
AWB?Agreed. Like I stated he has a lot to learn going forward but for me defending our goal is a right-back's priority and he's one of the best.
Still very young and that can be coached, doesn't make many if any defensive errors... which I think is quite important.
.... and because of a lack of choice.maybe
But FBs in the modern game are so much more to the point we play Aurier who cannot defend because he offers some kind of attacking threat
Plays for Liverpool not Evertonhe doesn't edit (have to) defend for toffee
