Mauricio Pochettino

I'll sing his name. Without his superb period managing this club we could be in very serious financial trouble right now. He deserves a huge amount of praise from our fans I think. We can't blame him for taking the Chelsea job, it seems we didn't want him and Chelsea are a big club in the biggest league in the world and they go all out for success.
And hiss at Jewish fans.

Scummy club, managed by someone who is now a scummy lemon botherer.

Wait until the clams start singing “He’s magic you know “, and you’ll find yourself booing with everyone else. :D

That’s a long way to drop down.
Nice job for a couple of years, no real pressure and not too far from Argentina so can fly 'home' more often if need be.
Ange can be the new 'Poch' and get us believing again that we can challenge for the top honours but should that not happen then maybe, just maybe Poch will come back to us.

Poch needs time to drill his tactics into his team, so I don't know how he is going to do that with the international team schedules. On the positive, the USA players are usually super athletes so will enjoy his brand of football.

Next job - Wrexham in the championship in a couple of years?

For me his post Spurs managerial career has been rather sad to see, picking the cheat mode clubs and failing by their standards of success. The strangest part of it was getting fired after Chelsea started to look like a proper team. It wasn't nice seeing him borderline humiliated on the touchline (apart from the games against us where we did our best to help his cause).

It's a tired old debate but I'd have a much fonder view of him if he was able to actually get us over the line in a competition before completely selling out but who can blame him, money talks.

Absolute step down for him, but to your point, actually a massive step up for them on a coach level and US players tend to be work horses, with an actual system, some tactical awareness, I'd expect better than average results for them ..

He was right man, right time for us, in the end (for me), he fits into the BMJ & Harry group, pushed the club up a level, got us competing, got decent football on table, fans behind team but just short of getting it over the line. His post Spurs work seems to show the same thing, good coach, not a great one.

He's fudging killed it money wise, the payoffs from us, PSG & Chelsea likely means he can do fudge all for the rest of his life and still have generational wealth. PSG & Chelsea probably also killed any view he was an elite coach ..

Not a bad little gravy train for Pochettino’s entourage either…

L’Equipe reports that it would cost PSG around €20 million (£17m/$22m) to part with their entire coaching team. It is reported that Jesus Perez, who is Pochettino’s right-hand man, is working on a salary of €80,000 a month, while Miguel D’Agostino and Toni Jimenez pull in €50,000 each and Sebastino Pochettino – Mauricio’s son – earns €20,000.

Think the us have pulled out all the stops to get the best coach they can. They have the world cup in a couple of years. Bet he's getting a nice package.
