We are delighted to announce the signing of Mathys Tel on loan from Bayern Munich, subject to international clearance and work permit.

The France Under-21 international will join the Club on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season with an option to make the move permanent in the summer. He will wear the number 11 shirt.

Less worried about LB, Udogie and Spence looks good there (3rd would be overkill) not to mention vdv and Davies also capable (yes I know Spence is RB, but with inside forwards like Salah using an inverted FB not the worst).

DM hurts though, still think we needed a positionally aware high energy midfielder, bit like Kante would have been perfect

My guess is this summer is when we do that by shipping out Bissouma and Richy and getting in the left back, DM and right wing

We really have our share of roosterwombles. We’ve done great business this window by the look of it. Very few clubs have been able to do as much business as us.

Signing 5 or 6 quality players in January is fantasy-land stuff. These are just people determined to hammer Levy whatever he does.

The squad is pretty full though. Our best match day squad would look something like 20 from this 21.

Venom, Kinsky, Porro, Spence, Romero, VDV, Danso, Udogie, Gray, Biss, Bents, Sarr, Bergval, Kulu, Madds, Sonny, Tel, Richi, Solanke, Johnson, Odobert

That still leaves Austin, Forster, Davies, Moore, Werner, Scarlett making up the numbers with Dragu injured.

Same here, however i think we will be able to have a more/better DM choices in the summer window.
 
Hearing the option might be exercised only after having a conversation with the player. Weakens our position BUT if earlier reports are to be believed he stated he still wanted to have a crack at making it at Bayern.

I think we (and all parties) are trying to keep everyone happy here. (If my first paragraph is true)
