Ended up being pointless because he was injured almost all of the season.
A year later and we've been able to add other players that makes him less useful to us so we loan him out not getting any suitable bids to sell him.

You'd have got slated for saying this at the time with people saying you've judged it too soon and to give him time, but it has been exactly what it looked like it would be.
Added with the rumblings from Shaktar's chairman, the deal doesn't paint the club in a good light and it's not like we've even benefited from it. The saving grace is that it's not been a huge misplacement of funds a la GLC / Tanguy but still seems super odd - If Ivan had been fit Manor wouldn't have ever seen game time.
