I think players who run at defenders are always liked, especially by fans at the game or when a team is struggling to create or keep the ball.

My gripe with Moura is his decision making for when to release the ball when he has it, as it all feels too random and then teammates can't prepare or make runs to receive it. Also with the fouls, whilst it feels like he's achieved something by earning them, we don't have anyone to take advantage of it and it also gives the other team a chance to reorganise.

We look more balanced having someone who can cut inside and get their head up to spot Kane or Son in better positions or a wb overlapping.

I'll never forgot the CL semi though and I also felt he should have started!
 
Moura would be amazing if he made better decisions. He hold on to the ball long enough for defences to reset.

His vision and killer ball lacks and it is frustrating to see because he has all the tools to be a great option.

I think he gets a little stick because it’s clear to see that he is a great character with genuine ability but the thing he needs lacks as an instinct player.

In general though don’t understand the amount of stick he gets. He is better than decent and would stand out for a team like West Ham or Everton.

Agree with all of this
He lacks the smarts for a top side but that doesn’t make him a poor player
I think it’s possibly to do with his coaching at senior level, possibly at PSG

I agree with most of that, but you can't blame him for our poor free kicks.
 
Apparently Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Aston Villa approached us regarding him on deadline day.
 
Just seen the Lucas documentary on the spurs app. I admit I cried a bit. Us fickle fans rant about players, calling them all sorts of things, and they aren't good enough etc.
But Lucas is the kind of guy we want in our team, not only because of the footballer he is, but because of the person he is.
We fans need to remember that a football team is more than the footballing ability of the players. It's also about who they are, and sometimes that is equally important.

Do t know I’d you listen to the view from the lane podcast but this week they had the Brazilian journalist Natalie Gedra on it.
She said a LOT of brazil players are pro Bolsonaro but Lucas is one of the few who is vocal about it

Not how I’d look at it personally. People are entitled to their bricky views when it comes to politics, doesn’t make them bad people.

I think that what @Bedfordspurs says above is telling. Yes, people are entitled to have bricky views. People who don’t even have the grace to keep those views quiet when, presumably, all of their employer’s highly paid PR and comms flunkeys are begging them to put a cork in it? Those are likely bad people.
