Juan Foyth

Him and Sanchez look to have the raw attributes to be two complimentary centre backs, Sanchez the steel and Foyth the finesse. Understandably given their ages there are still a few things to iron out, Foyth needs to understand when he can play the ball and needs to get stronger and Sanchez needs to reduce or master the shoulder barge and take a sideways position when he’s being run at.

The longer we can keep Jan and Toby to help them in the pitch along the way the sooner they will get there, there’s no substitute for experience though and we will reap the rewards in the longer term.

I would probably left him on the bench because Burnley are tough and gone with a back four.
 
Another good game from him. A couple of shaky moments, but overshadowed by several very good moments.

Deserves to play more, but with Vertonghen, Alderweireld and Sanchez at the club he'll have to be a bit patient.
 
He will be class - very much like Rio at a young age for me. Quality on the ball, could easily play DM if needed I reckon but can still be shaky defensively but that will come with experience. Him and Sanchez are the future as Verts/Toby reach the twilight days of their time here and both Foyth and Sanchez are the future for us and are being bedded in perfectly....
 
He is over confident and too naive in the way he plays at times ... it's probably because he has amazing ability. Needs to learn when to play it simple and when to hoof it out.

Overconfident, perhaps even arrogant, because he knows what he can do. Leading to some mistakes that he can learn from and improve his decision making. It's exactly what I want to see from a young inexperienced player.

Championship? Already looks ready for the PL and has made his debut for Argentina.

If we're going to send him out on loan it would have to be a higher level. But I would be surprised if we did, he looks very good and seems to be highly rated by Pochettino. Loans doesn't seem to be the approach we take.

He is stronger than he looks, bit like our two Belgians. Would expect him to gradually get stronger over the next couple of years as is normal.

Especially considering Foyth played as an attacking midfielder up until he was 16 years old, so being a CB is still a fairly new position to him even not accounting for being just 21.

Agreed. Just like Rio Ferdinand and John Stones; both made lots of naive errors trying to dribble or be clever...then they go on to win the league and be exceptionally good players.
