Jihad Seeks Allowance, Another Total tinkletake Allowed to Happen

How do we not educate ALL of our people? Everyone gets the same level of state education.

Indeed.
State education has gone down the 'council' mate, it's under-funded and state teachers under-compensated. It's become more like 'The Wall' than ever before.
Meanwhile, a whole economic 'class' is able to send their children to private schools where the level of education is drastically better. Now, I'm all for choice BUT I am pointing out that IF we spent more tax money on state education/education programs for the unemployed, and a teeny-tiny % less on, say, defence, we would start to see future generations who would perhaps contain a lower percentage of chavdom.

I see it as a way to keep people in their 'stations' so-to-speak...yes, everyone has free will, but more often than not, it takes an education to recognize that free will does not always lead you to the right places in life. All IMO mate.

It is my opinion that people that have come to this country from abroad with the sole intention of not working and claiming our benefits should be returned to their original destination

What about the example I mentioned in an earlier post, devil's advocate, should somebody who has the right to abode here by virtue of them having a British passport earned when their country was part of The Empire be allowed to receive free NHS treatment?

Or someone who left the country as a child with their parents, has never worked or paid tax here but has a British passport because he was born here, should they be entitled to free NHS treatment?

Should millionaires with non domicile status be allowed NHS treatment?

Just throwing it out there.

No one should receive NHS treatment unless they are paying, or have paid a certain amount of national insurance in their life. Simple as.

We, me and the wife have started when in London going to churches for a coffee well tea for me as i do not drink coffee. Most churches with halls next to them do lovely tea and coffee and good cakes. If your ever in central London may i recommend cafe in the crypt near the strand, very good home made cakes.

Slightly off topic that i know. So anyway the country is brick and left wing people have allowed it to happen and the backlash will be ther fault. It is why in 1930's germany people were so keen to vote for the black shirts because they were disgusted at what they had seen. I do not want that here i would rather we had a strong government so we do not need an extermist one to come in.

Yes Gordi i know i am close to godwins law but sometimes needs must.

mate,

simply not true. it is the culture of greed!!!!!!!

mate,

You see i agree with you but i think your thinking of the greed of bankers and im thinking of the greed of the scroungers. I would say that the left allowed the scroungers to stay home and helped them and made it more comfortable for them because a. it made winning elections for labour easier and b. it would be far harder to have actually created an industry for these people to go and get work.

The bankers have behaved badly it was maggie who is a hero to me who created this the big bang in the city. So she has to take the blame by not putting in safe guards but blair and brown carried it on.

We can look at america and clintons aim to get poorer income people onto the property ladder that was greed, greed to stay in power and greed by people who could not afford their own home though i do not blame them i understand why people tried to better themselves. But the sub prime mortgage thing was a creation of the left and mainly clinton.

Of course in this country we have house builders sitting on lots of land that they could build on but do not and that is to make their profits bigger. They would be what i would call right wing people. So really steff both right and left wing people are greedy i guess haha you talked me round mate not just the left though i think they are the bigger part of the problem.

Really the makers of the wire need to write a series just on the financail crisis because the is no easy answer. If you ask me though i would lay most of the blame at lefties for indulging people for to long.

I think we're both right (sadly) and what's more, I think we'd both agree that generally, our culture has become one which shows less respect for decent human values. it is this which (for me) is the biggest fundamental issue.

Its not the lefties or the righties( it far to easy to pass the blame to the opposite party) who are to blame for the mess our socity is in, its the bleeding heart liberals, Pc phalanx, hand wringing social workers who are always making excuses for everyone that are to blame.

I know markys original post was on the nutter but i think most of this thread is not about overseas claimants. I have a very close friend who is latvian and they do get child tax credits but they have been here 6 years now and he has paid enough in. Think the biggest problem with foreign workers at the lower end is that unless they plan on setting up here most do not spend much money but send it back home which takes money out of the economy.

The is a poster going around in latvia jokingly saying that you should go to england if you dont want to work because you will earn money on benefits and never be kicked off.

No matter what you think milo we are seen as a soft touch and it is why people are attracted to this country. The big problem will be when turkey gets into the EU.

Milo what are your views on benefits and the possible cutting back of benefits to scroungers, british ones with children. I know your someone of a left bent so i wonder what your views are on it. Do you think we can afford the same welfare state we had 10 years ago in the future?

We spend nearly £100bn/yr on education. That figure was £37bn in 1997 when Labour came in to power, which is £54bn adjusted for inflation. That's a real terms increase of over £40bn.

Throwing money at the problem clearly doesn't solve anything, but Labour just don't understand that.

The most disgraceful part is that our education bill is nearly £100bn, but the spend per pupil figure is only supposedly around £5500 according to newspaper reports. There are about 9 million kids in this country between 5 and 18, which puts the total spend on pupils at about £50bn. Where the hell is the other £50bn going? Personally I think the spend per pupil figure is incorrect but I haven't been able to find out how the figure is calculated.

The solution is a school voucher system. Every child gets a schools voucher, which entitles them to a place at a state school, or a cash amount that can be redeemed as part of private tuition. For example (assuming if the £5500 figure is correct), the school voucher could be worth £5000 towards tuition at a private school. This would increase spend per pupil in state schools (each pupil that moves to the private sector is worth £500 to the state school) and largely reduce the cost of private school for those that can afford it. Everyone wins.

Yeah well i lump all those people in with the left. I know a few social workers and imagine the is more chance of having a right winger in the BBC then in the social services.

And i have come across a few who are dyed in the wool Torys, as i say forget the politicians and start sorting out the social workers who have books on excuses why people should be given whatever they want, and giving them reasons for doing so.

[h=3]JO LEIGH, 26, of Milton Keynes, gets boyfriends to pay bills [/h]
JO lives with her footballer boyfriend and doesn’t ever want a job.

The wannabe WAG is one of four million Brits who — as The Sun revealed last week — have never worked a day in their lives.

She says: “I feel I am too good to be employed. I date and persuade my boyfriends to keep me and pay all my bills.

“Working is so boring — why would you want to do that when you can have a nice rich boyfriend?

“Eventually I hope to marry a footballer, and then I will be safe — I’ll never have to work a day in my life.

“I’m not ashamed to say I am a wannabe WAG and I bet a lot of other girls would like to live like I do, in a lovely flat, and have all their clothes bought for them.

“I met my current boyfriend in a nightclub — where I meet all my blokes. It’s actually very easy. If I fall out with this one I’m sure I will be able to find another one. I left school at 16 and I went to college to do a course in air hostessing. But I found it boring.

“I kept on meeting guys in clubs and several offered to set me up.

“I moved in with one, and then another. I’ve been taken on holidays to Barbados and America — really, it’s like a career in itself.”

Jo doesn’t claim benefits but by choosing not to work, contributes nothing to the public purse or society. She reveals: “My family aren’t thrilled. They would love for me to be independent and to have a job and stand on my own two feet.

“But I love the glamour of my life.

“Now, with programmes like TOWIE, everyone wants a glamorous lifestyle which is all about your hair and nails, designer clothes, spray tans and going out. I think planning for the future is boring — I’d rather live in the moment.”

fudge me, she is one ugly troll, I see she met her current boyfriend in a club, Luke Chadwick would be my guess if I was asked to take a stab. Bear in mind the picture in the Sun is of her made up for a photo shoot with a national newspaper, that's as good as it gets, probably the pinnacle of her career, imagine what that would look like next morning next to you. The thought makes me shudder.

In her defence, 20% of the money she's spunking each week in bars and dress shops goes to the exchequer plus she's helping to maintain jobs in the service sector so there's PAYE collected on those wages.

I hate seeing the growth of the culture of entitlement and greed and laziness which is such a toxic ****tail.
The diminishing of a attitude of responsibility and duty and honour (to oneself and society) is something that diminishes us all.

I agree...because in it's wake comes the diminishing of our societal responsibility to those who GENUINELY need help. It's such a mess...

I think half the problem is that whatever the issue, people think it's the governments duty to fix it. People gambling too much? Get the government to ban bookies. People too fat? Tax fizzy drinks and ban fast food.

Filthy git. His sexuality has nothing to do with it

;)

It works both ways mate. Look at the brick storm the Western World, most notably the US has caused in African/Middle Eastern/Eastern European/Asi..........fudge it, every other continent on the planet! It's very easy to be spun by Western media. Too easy.

Muslim militants and Sharia Law will NEVER be prominent in the UK. That's a guarantee.

Rome will never fall. The British Empire will always remain... phrases said countless times in the past but the truth is nothing is guaranteed.

Just looking at the numbers alone. The British stereotypical Englishman who follows and supports our current Westernized lifestyle of fair laws, equal rights between men and women and tradition is being out produced when focusing on reproduction.

A typical family has on average two children. When the parents die their children will maintain their presence in numbers in this country.

A Muslim family (and no offence to those who adapt to the lifestyle here and work hard etc) tend to have more children and larger families.

This may not be a problem as long as you can pay your way BUT too many money is not concept of focus. Many of these people follow a religion that's very different from ours and their lifestyle is based on this religion.

This is when it becomes dangerous. This is when it becomes more about a numbers.

Cancer when found early can be treated with a high percentage of success. If left unnoticed or ignored the cancer can grow and before you know it treatment is no longer an option. The body becomes engulfed while the cancer spreads.

This is similar to how this country is heading and in my opinion no one with power in the near future will have the courage to tackle the problem and would rather ignore it. This is because we have created a society where people are targeted for standing up for their beliefs. Where people are ridiculed or abused for wanting to protect their family, culture and tradition. This is what silences people and is why the backbone of 'Great' Britain is no more.

Are you sure?? Which utopic Western civilization are you living in, we should all retreat at once to this paradise.

With all due respect, your post could have come out of a comments section of an article in The Sun/Mail. Please try to remember that not all of 'these people' are trying to force their way of life, views or traditions on the general westernized population. In fact, most wish to intergrate wholly with born citizens.
