Anyone think when Davies is back, it might be worth pushing this guy into a DM role infront back 4?

I know it's a bit of an ask, but he's played CB/RB/LB, why not one more

Tanganga seems pretty good at heading, perhaps he can do a Sutton / Doherty and get on the end of Aurier’s crosses whilst Kane is out?!

So apart from lb cb and rb, this kid is going to solve our DM and second choice number 9 issues!!
What would be good if he could be the type of defender you could chuck up for the last 10 when chasing a game, a la Chris Samba at Blackburn. None of our other defenders have been options for that for a long time

Has Tanganga got a twin brother like Sessegnon and Dele?!
 
Ledley King played DM and claims it helped it with his positioning awareness.
In that role he also was on the end of a crunching tackle that resulted in his knee problems that would eventually end his career.

It's not a solve, but interim solution ..

to @metalgear point, Ledley has done it, it would also give him playing time
 
I don't see why he should be considered there as long as Winks is fit at least. Not sure why he would be a better solution than Dier or Gedson either.

"It's amazing that I played as long as I did really when I think back to that game at Pride Park," King told The Sun.

"It was my first start for Spurs, I was playing in midfield and after about 30 seconds I was clattered by Rory Delap.

"I just about managed to complete the game but I needed an operation on my left knee afterwards which kept me out for six weeks. I've been having operations on that knee ever since.

"You could say that was the start of the end and it was only four days after my 19th birthday."
