Absolute steal for £40m, surprised no one else was in for him. Would get game time at any club in the league.

Daylight bloody robbery. [emoji1787]Or 30m+ Harry winks
What a surprise John Terry suspected of lying about his golf handicap....Good lad.
I knew he'd organised a charity golf day but that was about it.
His last three seasons he really stepped up, double digit goals for 3 seasons in a row plus his assist output. Has 1 in 4 goal ratio in his time at Leicester, madness for a midfielder at a mid level/struggling team.
A player who simply has gotten better year over year, and looks better in a better team
Bad miss by other teams, similar to Romero in that regard
Both ways. They not only sold us Madders for £40, but actually paid £10m for Winks.Daylight bloody robbery. [emoji1787]

You can argue that he was flattered by the players around him in the peak Poch team, but he still bossed midfield against Real -- the lad's got talent, just not quite enough to make a midfield pairing with Sissoko.Winks is a bloody good player too, a quick look at the div 1 table suggests he’s absolutely bossing it down there.

With all sorts of random CMs going for way more than that, Winks for £10m is a pretty good price to the right team. And it may be that being part of a team expected to dominate in the Championship is perfect for him. The silver lining of Leicester getting promoted would be seeing Winks back in the Prem.

Did we do some kind of deal with Leicester that we only charge them 10m for winks instead of say 20 odd million she they do the same with Madison. Would that help with FFP at all?.
15% apparently, so quid pro quo'ing £10M would have saved Leicester £1.5M. Tidy. Guess there may have been some tax savings too, but I don't know how that works.Maddison had a sell on clause. Leicester had to give norwich some of the fee.
From our side it would be the opposite. Its would be in our interest to get as bigger fee for Winks as possible for FFP as he is home grown for us.Did we do some kind of deal with Leicester that we only charge them 10m for winks instead of say 20 odd million she they do the same with Madison. Its good to hear positive reports around Winks. I'd completely forgot about him tbh. It's nice to know he's started well and been accepted by Leicester fans, as a successful fresh start is the minimum the kid deserves.I always liked Winks, an easy player to spacegoat by some sections of the fanbase when times were hard it seems.
A friend of mine who is a Leicester fan absolutely loves him, can't believe he's not playing for a Prem team.
