Ingerlund

Goal made in Tottenham with Mason diving in to make the tackle that led to the goal. Thought Kane did alright for his full debut, definately looked like he was on the same wavelength as Rooney. Walker looked lost on a couple of occasions.

As for the rest, well Carrick instantly improved our shape and Jones was a lot better with the ball out of defence that Smalling. I thought Delph and Walcott looked particularly poor, nowhere near good enough, same could be said for Gibbs also who didn't look sharp enough. Rooney or Jagielka for MOTM. Jagielka read the play well, whilst Rooney was probably the best player out there.

Interesting player Townsend. He is left footed, but he consistently shoots better with his right.

It was great to see four Spurs players out there in the second half, though. Three of them home grown too. Mason with the assist and Townsend with the goal. Both of them played well after coming on. Kane was decent, I thought. It was a tough game for him, but he was involved in most things England created. Walker perhaps didn't have the best game.

Can Gibbs even touch the ball with his right foot ?. His behaviour lost us so much possession, and wasted so many opening his teammates had worked to create.

So many times I was expecting something much better, but then I'm used to the new Rose.

Overall, we were passing backwards as default. Naff.

Rooney & Kane are managing to keep out of each other's way, unlike Rooney/Welbeck

Are you planning on going to any of the Euro U21 games this summer Heda?

I wanna go, but I forgot when tickets went on sale. So for now, tickets are available only for 3 games Ger vs Den, Ger vs Srb and Den vs Srb. Which is not too much of a surprise, because the price of tickets were £3.

Still hope, that there will be some tickets later for England matches. if not then I will go to the one of germans matches.

I was thinking of going to some of the Germany games too. Are the Czech games sold out?

England players produced by each club. I guess it means club they were at when they got their first cap.

It looks like all Czech games are sold out. Maybe later some tickets will be available if e.g. Denmark return some tickets from their allocation.

A similar comparison totalling England goals 'contributed' from each club might just be even more impressive. Spurs goalscoring internationals from my time that spring to mind include Bobby Smith, Jimmy Greaves, Martin Chivers, Martin Peters, Glenn Hoddle, Teddy Sheringham, Chris Waddle, Darren Anderton, Les Ferdinand, Paul Gascoigne, Gary Lineker, Les Ferdinand, Jermain Defoe and probably a few more.

I'll keep an eye on that. I am over there several times a year but haven't know whether I could be there in June until recently. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick up some for the knockout phase.

England are playing into Italy's hands, I think. Italy have three centre backs, two deep midfielders in front of them, there is no way England is gonna find a way through centrally unless they come up with something special (and that looks unlikely), so at least get the ball wide and put some crosses in.

Instead England have a diamond in midfield, no width, and the full backs rarely come forward. I have to say it's a bit baffling that they play that way when it's obvious that the spaces are in the wide areas. Play 4-2-3-1 instead. Walcott on the right (he is useless as a striker against a team that defends deeply). Rooney behind Kane. Take Delph off and get someone on who can provide some width on the left, even if it is Townsend. And get the full backs forward more.

Whaaaaat?! Don't let Scaramanga see that, one should never get the ball wide and turn defences, one should continue to bludgeon one's skull against the wall :)

The Three Lions boss has selected a 24-man squad for two games next month – a friendly against Republic of Ireland in Dublin on 7 June and a Euro 2016 Qualifier against Slovenia in Ljubljana on 14 June.

Wheelchair, Smalling, Jones, Bertrand, Delph, Vardy, Wellbeck my dear lord !!!!!

nothing wrong with Wheelchair, Smalling, Jones and Welbeck being in the sqaud. these are players that have played at the very top level for a number of years now. bertrand, delph, mason, townsend you can kind of understand, as this is a 24-man squad. but fk me, its embarrassing that the likes of charlie austin and vardy are in the sqaud.
