Hugo Lloris

1. Cech
2. de Gea
3. Howard
4. Lloris
5. Hart

is my top 5, if we was to base it on this season though, two of those wouldn't be there.

I'm not so sure about Lloris now as I was at the start of the season.

I really wouldn't rate Cech that highly either, if I was Chelsea manager he'd be 3rd in line.

I think other than De Gea and Begovic you can pretty much throw a blanket over the rest of them and call it a wash.

I was never on the Mignolet bandwagon. Don't think he's in the top 5 goalkeepers in the league.

Never? Are you sure?

it's not like it's a **** keeper Sunderland have and he's having a blinder.. Mignolet is awesome.

to be fair, Mignolet is ****ing immense. A real good signing for Liverpool that, one of the best young keepers in the world. Thats a good win for liverpool

what part? that Mignolet is a great goalkeeper or that was a good win for Liverpool? Both are true.

Mignolet is great.. on course for another cleansheet.

And this Butland thing, he's actually not been great at all even in the Championship or for the U21s. He makes a couple of nice saves against Liverpool and Palace I think it was and it's all aboard the Jack Butland hype train. Choo Choo.

How is that on a bandwagon. It's showing compliment to a goalkeeper. I'd have him on par with the likes of Sczezney, who I also think is a good goalkeeper. He has made a few errors recently no doubt, but every keeper does. Including untouchable Lloris.

I can see that you've never actually seen Butland other than the games for Stoke.

but i thought the bestest best of the whole wide world was Jakey Butland

Butland makes errors all the time. ****y attitude like Hart gets him into bother. He has potential, but is a long long way from being a top 6 PL keeper

Potentially, yes.

Are you struggling to understand what potential is or... ?

you clearly said that Butland was "the best British keeper since Banks"......i dont see any word there that resembles "potential". Its laughable to say such a thing

what makes you say that?

personally I think he is one of (if not) the best in the league

I probably don't watch as much Prem as most of you as I live out of the country now. It's just everytime I watch United he concedes goals*I think he, or any other keeper, should have saved. And I don't think he gives out a vibe of high competence. I'm probably not in a good position to judge accurately though, just felt like venting an opinion yesterday ;-)
