Kane's job is to mark the man near the front post, as soon as it becomes apparent that the flight of the ball is well above their heads he knows that job is redundant and is he straight onto the next job. As in this case it's re-positioning yourself to what 'might' happen next. Quite often (especially at this level) you can't react to what's happened, you'll be too late, you're playing percentages all the time.

I bet if you replayed 100 corners from different teams and looked at what the player does whose doing a similar job to Kane at a corner very few (if any)would do what Kane did.

I know it gets said but that was as good as a goal.

Someone said to me on here last week that Harry has such football intelligence that he’d be our best centre back if he chose to play there. There’s an element of truth in that.

Great player, great pro, great lad. We’re blessed to be watching him in our shirt. I’m not sure he’s the most naturally talented player I’ve seen in our colours but I’m certain that he’s the best.
 
How many goals is this man on now?

We really need to pin at the top of his thread (like we do with polls) a running tally with where he sits in the all time list, which can be updated each time he scores.
 
Had Sky Sports News on after the game and they were going over the highlights. After the penalty was won I was genuinely, in the moment, surprised they showed him scoring it.

Excellent at the back again when called upon. Think he struggled a bit with supply but also didn’t have an outball when he stopped off - Son was well off today (maybe their shape negated him?) Lamela isn’t particularly creative and Ndombele didn’t get on the ball much either.

Yeah he wasn't great but he was very clever for the last 15 minutes. brickhoused his way through it. Drew fouls, stayed down, wasted time all over the place. He's always had a bit of that in him but I reckon Jose is encouraging it.

Yeah, H is such a boring lad - all he does is score hundreds of goals in the biggest league on Earth, in one of the best stadiums on Earth, for both club and country, while earning tens of millions living out the dreams of every bloke who's ever kicked a football.

If only he had the swagger and career heft of a pair of washed up ESPN FC hacks.

I would assume if someone was to ridicule a black player for his speech she would be one of the first to man/woman the barricade.

Exactly.
I'm sure we've all heard people say he talks like a mong - obviously with no idea what that actually means.
But genuinely, how does anyone know if Kane does/doesn't have a mild from of a condition? It's so ignorant to make fun of people like that.

Easy target
Successful middle class white male who doesn’t express an opinion publicly

the world isn’t designed for that currently

add in the way that some black players are treated appalling too and you realise that they wanna build players up to knock them down (Sterling being a classic)
