I disagree with this. I think they've shown a fair amount of ambition already. Bidding £70m for a player who can be secured on a pre-contract deal in just over 5 months is fair. I suspect they'll end up agreeing a fee of around £85m to £95m, where the last £10-£20m is in bonuses. Whether Kane then accepts a move is another matter.
I take the other view. I think Kane would accept the move, but I more struggle with Bayern matching Levy's price (which won't be a negotiable amount)
