Grealish

So in 94 premier league games he has a grand total of 12 goals and 12 assists.

Even at Villa he only ever got double digit assists once (10) and never got any more than 8 goals in a season.

If you want 300 free kicks a game and hardly any goal contributions, he is your man.
Tbh the way Frank will set us up and how we will definitely have a focus on set pieces that doesn't sound bad to me, would be quite a profitable area :D

I don't think Grealish would have been a bad solution at all on loan, and certainly not as bad as some are making him out to be and agree with @Grays_1890 would have been a stop gap. But if we are securing Franks preferred targets and rectifying holes in attacking areas then great....

When you think of our recent transfer history, there have been quite a few loan to buys when building the first team squad. From memory, guys like Romero, Kulu, Danso, Tel have all come into our club via that route. I believe the PL rules are that you're only allowed 2 loans at any one time and we've obviously got Palhinha as one of them for this season.

Just my conspiracy, but I reckon if we're looking at a second stop gap loan like Grealish, it would happen late in the window. We'd be more interested in the type of younger loan to buys at this stage of the window.

I also think the MO for Spurs attackers under Frank is industry and goals / assists. It's a risk with Jack on both counts.
