Am I the only one that doesn't want him?
I feel like some of you just want a signing at this stage and he'll do.
Or "we're paying a lot of money he must be good".
If we were paying 30 million for him to replace Sissoko then I'd be happy enough but he's not worth much more than that.

45% more than we were considering paying for Grealish to do the same role 12 months ago. That's one hell of a step up

If you look at his skillset the interest isnt to replace Sissoko directly, but more so to add creativity and quality to the midfield.

I am not going to say I don't want him but I won't sit here and pretend I want him like I know know what he is like based on not seeing him and a few youtube vidoes

Another one where he sounds exotic and people go mental
 
Can't think of any Argentinian playmaker that has done well in the Premier League era. Veron was a bust. Funny enough I can't think of anyone else.

A player's nationality is practically irrelevant when looking at whether they are likely to be a success in a league.

An alternative view is that some fans like me knew nothing about him before he was linked to us. But there is a belief that Poch knows more about Argentine players than the average fan on here and if he identified Lo Celso as a player that would improve our squad then I am happy to roll with it.
