No, this copying other teams' scouting is a myth, just like when we was accused of doing it with (I think) Liverpool.
He is well renowned as one of the biggest midfield talents in La Liga, he isnt some undiscovered gem - all of the top sides will be well aware of him....

Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is on the verge of a move to Real Betis, who look set to beat West Ham to his signature.
Mitrovic is on Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini’s wish list if the club fail to land top target Maxi Gomez from Celta Vigo.
But Betis have stolen a march on them, with vice president Jose Miguel Lopez Catalan in London for talks with the Cottagers.
Fulham want £30m for Mitrovic, who has four years left on his contract and scored 11 Premier League goals last season.
But while the Spanish side are trying to do a deal for closer to £22m, the two sides are understood to be close to a compromise.

OMG, Fulham is in for Lo Celso too and is using Mitrovic as a makeweight!
The source of the latest rumours is this article. Atletico and Spurs have made bids of 55 and 40 million respectively. United have now made an opening bid of 75. The Betis CEO is apparently in London to sign Mitrovic and maybe talk about some other business.

He’s one of the biggest talents in La Liga, there are bound to be other teams interested in taking him. I don’t see how you can come to the conclusion it’s just Betis trying to push the price up. I mean heaven forbid there are clubs willing to be bid higher than us, that just doesn’t sound likely at all does it

Yeah my friends whined about it for 6 months or so. As if ever club in the Europe wasn’t aware of them. They were both Premier League players ffs, not unknown rookies in the Ecuadoran 3rd division.

I think its unrelated due to llorente leaving.
Extra attacking midfielder needed to free Son/Lucas to play instead of Kane from time to time and when he’s injured.
I would say dependent on eriksen leaving is a ceballos or fernandes.

If it made it more financially viable I would not mind seeing Lamela going as we would be balanced then.
A solid 2nd striker, new RB for Trips who is off and I think that would be a very decent summer.
