Fernando Llorente

Didn't he break his arm quite badly in a cycling accident a few weeks ago?

I know Son his back from his already, but guess it could be a while before he's out of plaster and ok to play

Walker - 50MIL
Janssen - 23MIL
Wimmer - 18MIL
Total - 91MIL

Aurier - 23MIL
Sanchez 30MIL (+ Addons)
Foyth - 9MIL
Llorente - 15MIL
Barkley - 30MIL

Total - 107MIL

Hopefully one more in with a bit of pace, to make up for barkleys injury, although NKoudou may be back in plans

I'd still call that a par window, without that quick gamechanging creative AM

if Llorente comes off and we get a Barkley or a Di Maria I would say a very happy window.

Where is Janssen off to?

As if - Aurier and Sanchez is a substantial upgrade on Walker and Wimmer and 15m cheaper. Thats before you dissect anything further today....

No way Aurier is better than Walker. In a year's time, maybe. But at the moment it's damage limitation to losing Walker

Aurier > Walker
Lorente > Janssen

Foyth v Wimmer - Who knows

+ Sanchez
+ Barkley

Personally dont want Mahrez but can see the argument

Minor tweaks to positions we were already strong in.

Our biggest issue last season was that Sissoko sucked, GKN wasn't as good as hoped and Lamela was injured. Improving our 4th/5th/6th AMs, especially adding some pace and trickery, was really the only priority (other than replacing Walker)

But we have made the best defence even better and arguably if we get Llorente in we have added a proven striker at this level

Make no mistake I like Jansenn but we cannot have a season where we drop out of the top 4 and of addding Llorente keeps us there then so be it

Wimmer has been upgraded, another prospect in and a replacement for Walker.

A PL ready striker who has CL experience to replace a generally considered failed Janssen and maybe one attacking Midfielder.

Without ripping up a pretty solid first team in the first place I think thats above Par

There is some chatter that Bony was going back to Swansea to replace Llorente but that might have stalled. Maybe Janssen to Swansea on loan might grease the wheels, as some have suggested. Marcus Edwards loan as a sweetner?
