Fabio Paratici - Also Sporting Director

Surely flimflam? He's been in the job literally 70 days. He also turned down Milan, a much bigger club than Fiorentina, to wait for us.

The new City guy is just a finance bod isnt he, its not a football-related role?

Didn't Milan pull their offer because of his grubby rep?

TBH that joint role stuff was a ridiculous idea.........someone was always going to break

Have they
I’m not saying Lange is good by the way but Monchi came in and in his first full season they finished lower (possibly because of playing CL)
Just saying they don’t appear to miss him. I’m far from convinced by Lange. Not sure what value he’s adding. Hopefully I’m wrong.

I’m not sure on Lange either
But I also think all DOFs are better judged when they leave
He left Villa and the squad he partly built made the CL
How much is down to much is down to him we don’t know

Both like some of the stuff he's done and have some reservations about him. But so many changes in the last 6 months, a lack if an identity at the club, losing Paratici doesn't seem like what we need.

Also think hiring someone really good to replace him would be difficult hiring to a joint DoF role.

I couldn't careless if Fabio left I didn't want him back after his ban he is dodgy as fudge. On the other hand Lange comes across as a genuine nice guy who just gets on with his job. That's who I want representing my club

The interesting links are to to Rafi Moersen

Lots of articles like this - https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/tottenham-who-is-carlos-raphael-moersen-b1262791.html

If you believe these articles then it appears that Rafi will sit between Vinai and the 2 sporting directors, Lange / Fabio, and take the role that Munn vacated. I think he was called Chief Football Officer (CFO) or something like that. It's also rumoured that Rebecca Caplehorn will be leaving the club at the end of Jan.

I guess we find out in due course.
