Exactamundo ... we are not splitting hairs here, but 30 mil usually ensures that you are buying a top player ... how about putting in a few bids for Rooney to jack the price up?

Willian is more an AVB "type" ie works hard defensively. But Lamela excites me more (judging by the enthusiasm of his supporters here!) and scores more goals but I wonder how much slack the fans will give him.

Nah we got sucker punched mate with Willian ... but we should go for Rooney in a strong way even knowing that we wont get him. But we have cash, so a reported 45mil bid for rooney may seem plausible or even 50mil.
