Eric Dier

Lol. Castigating Dier and Hojbjerg for being in a 9 man team, and not being able to defend against 11! Those two were immense.

Sorry don't see it with Peh.
For every good thing he does he does a terrible thing.
That fk, our best opportunity is a fk and he fudging passes to their keeper.
The third goal, his position is crap, the guy that makes the run to beat the trap runs past him (honestly how many times has he done this?) and he stands and watches as everyone else charges up the pitch.

Dier is not the reason we lost tonight
he was fine and considering his lack of games… he was arguably better than that

PEH a was playing a centre back centre mid hybrid… again he was imo very good

we lost because of other players not on the pitch including the biggest loss which is VDV

The guy came in at a good time for him
the pressure was less because it was a suit or bust moment
and … he knew their attack was pretty brick
he did well
that goal was his redemption story …that never was

Herculean mental and physical efforts from them, considering the pressure they are personally under and the style they've been asked to play which you may not think is a natural fit.
They did not disgrace the shirt last night.

I thought he was great, not just as a player but as a leader, it would have been so, so sweet if his goal had stood.
And according to footage they showed on NBC, it should have stood, as it most probably came off the Chelsea player.
Regardless, it was a magnificent finish!
