Would it change much though, being in the CL is the key bit, a few extra games, a bit more prize money if we go deeper into the bracket.

Sponsorship money is the area we can make up the most ground now and I think on-field success is what would bring that about. Shirts sponsors/kit manufacturers and official tractor partners pay more to associate themselves with a winning team.

Tv revenue is assured. Gate receipts coorporate s and season tickets are sold already.
In terms of the loan commitment, yes. But the holistic picture means we’d be offsetting that income against the loan whilst having no other revenue coming in.
Unlikely such an event happens again in the foreseeable future but it’s still a caveat against borrowing based on future earnings.

That’s £800m plus the stadium debt?? That can’t be right

Item 15 detailing liabilities. It's not just transfers. Current liabilities are £462,990,000.
Next item 16 dealing with non-current liabilities details secured loans (bank and other) as £851,448,000. Which I assume is the stadium debt.
The remaining non-current liabilities come to over £450m

That would account for £900m on transfer debt… that doesn’t make sense and doesn’t align with the high level reporting of the finances
Although I can see it there

What is trade and other payables?

A season ticket is considered a liable isn't it? You've sold the ticket yet the games are yet to be played so it's considered a liability? Guessing concerts etc... fit into that.

Would love a new owner to clme in and wipe a load of it off though.

There will be stuff on there that is just accounting practice that won't be actual debt that we have e.g. defered income. Would need someone with proper accounting knowledge to tell the real situation.

Season ticket would most likely be under deferred income. It's something that we have received payment for but have yet to provide the service. As I mentioned above it's just accounting practice and not all of it is really debt that we have to pay actual cash out.

No, it's not only transfers.
Of the current liabilities, it says only £184.5m of the ~£463m is for trade payables (which I guess is transfer fees due within the following 12 months)
Similarly, for the non-current liabilities, only £191.4m seems to be for longer-term transfer fees owed

That does align with the figure I remember of about £350m owed
