ENIC

Apparently though from what uve just been told this isn't about that, this is about taking minor 15% interests in many not owning them all

Could still benefit the club - depends on how that money is invested. Two routes (simplistically) if they were speaking to Spurs:

- they buy 15% of the shares which Lewis/Levy own...in which case the money goes to Lewis/Levy
- they buy new shares in the club equivalent to 15% of the overall share capital. In this situation, its new money going into the club

Or it could be a mix or the two

They are also looking at selling a minority stake in psg. Think long term they might eventually want a major stake in an english club and minority in psg. Or it could be Nasser Al-Khelaïfi is just getting minority stakes to secure his power with the eca and uefa.

French league is so limited due to its lack of competition

Probably realised PSG isn't going to cut the mustard.

Can't say I'm enthused with the idea of having a regime like Qatar involved with the club.

Would be hard to cut ties completely, been going as a kid and there's a big social side to things, lots of prople i only know & see through going to games on the reg - minority share is better than outright owners but yeah doesn't sit right

Ally Gold says the club is denying at this point (if that means anything)

Be an interesting conversation, so many people dislike ENIC

- Would you feel better with Qatar being part/full owners
- Would you care if we finally won on the back of an injection of significant money?
- Perhaps the interesting question, given owners that would put cash in every year, would you want to keep Levy on?

This one smacks of "careful what you wish for"

Who else was gonna buy us???
This is the crux of the issue with the ENIC our element
Someone buying into the club needs a lot of money and hat typically is someone you don’t admire as your owners

Don't enjoy football as much as I used to, slowly noticing that I care less about spurs ... QSI kick in ... won't bother me at all ... just the way the sport is heading. Taking the moral high ground means nothing to the league, corrupt fifa , and eventually the majority of fans.

If they take over and we win trophies etc we are just going to attract the types of muppets that followed Chelsea, City and possibly now Saudi Sportswashing Machine.

Or they are another investment group that looks to make a profit. Or a group that does a leverraged buyout putting us into more debt. Chinese and russian investors are no longer an option. Would a billionaire willing to invest in a club to make them winners look at city and Saudi Sportswashing Machine and really think they could compete?

Why would a legit… if there is one… billionaire want a football team
Yeah an investment group could buy us but so far that hasn’t worked in football as far as I’m aware, as none have deep enough pockets but their very nature
