No break clause according to reports. Have said all along there will be no significant punishment. If they remove the card at the base of the pyramid then the whole house will collapse.

Simon Jordan said months ago he thinks they will end up paying a fine. Not saying it’s right that they get away with it, but I guess it’s somewhat of a middle ground between doing nothing and relegating them.

A fine to an organisation that print their own money is completely worthless.

If that’s how it ends up, City will be laughing their heads off.

I agree it’s not the appropriate punishment but better than nothing I guess. If it is a fine and nothing else then let’s at least hope it’s substantial like £100m or something. Pipe dream stuff I know.

It will be a very hefty fine and points deduction that will not make it too difficult for them to qualify for CL.

I favour this. However will the other clubs want a review of trophies won? Whilst I don’t see the point - some clubs trade in that particular currency and it seems likely to be looked into fully.

I don’t care much for points deductions for historic errors- the people impacted change after all - a big ongoing fine spread over several years impacting psr seems to me to be a suitable punishment and carries more of an impact on the owners.
