I can’t find anything online but then everything is swamped with todays news
This one went to the court of appeal. City had been trying to keep the whole thing quiet.

I do remember that one nowThis one went to the court of appeal. City had been trying to keep the whole thing quiet.
An absolutely feeble effort.
They need to consider the damage they are doing to football and their own image.
If they win it’s becomes a battle between the two countriesIs nothing compared to the damage if found guilty.
If they win it’s becomes a battle between the two countries
If they lose it means football can remain slightly competitive
If they win it’s Saudi vs Abu Dhabi going forwardNot sure how it becomes a battle between the 2 countries?
If they win then they will be able to get sponsorship at inflated levels. The only thing stopping them now is the rule that states that it has to be at fair market value and can't be inflated. That rule gets removed and suddenly you'll see City and Saudi Sportswashing Machine get dozens of sponsorship deals at ridiculous prices that no other club will get.Not sure how it becomes a battle between the 2 countries?

That’s historic. This new stuff will destabilise the league going forward.
Don't forget Chelsea as wellIf they win then they will be able to get sponsorship at inflated levels. Gazprom won't be pumping in extra sponsorship money.Don't forget Chelsea as well
Remember their official energy partner Gazprom etc
This not about fans it is about the premier league clubs setting and abiding by it’s own rules. From our perspective yes. But a lot of football fans don't see the danger and especially if they have rich owners, just want them to spend spend spend. Some of our fans want new owners, to do just that.
From city and newcastles perspective they just want to win. They don't care if it destroys the sport.

You mentioned damage to their image.
It's not that big actually. If the rule on apt (only brought in in november and nothing to do with citys 115 charges) is ruled as illegal. They'll just rewrite them to make sure they are legally compliant.
Citys 115 charges are based on fraud.
The problem the Emirati have is they do not do fair competition, and if England believes in anything it is exactly that.
If this latest court case rules that the premier leagues rule making has been bias and needs changing. Well, first of all the premier league may need to find a new model to rid itself of that bias. But then, that doesn’t mean the revised process has less power to choke City and Saudi Sportswashing Machine by ratifying commitments counter to their long term goals.
Sheikh Mansour will never be able to reconcile a true and honest competition with something that is not a ‘tyranny of the many’ as they have called it.
Whilst I’m glad they are a bulwark to teams like Arsenal winning things on the pitch, the way they do things off the pitch is cheating, their inflated sponsorship deals and naming rights for example. I sincerely hope they lose this case as they will essentially be able to do as they please if they win. Not a good look for them or for the league. I wonder if they would be in favour of a tax system in which they could spend as much as they like on transfers and wages but a cut goes to the pyramid and shared amongst the lower league teams.
