If its a knee injury, that will have come from contact or slipping or twisting the knee. Don't think rotation would have done anything to prevent a injuries like that.
They are playing so well and have lost since November iircEven if you can't compare you can look at Bournemouth and praise a team with 10 injuries (including the replacement player for Solanke) and manage to get a 4-1 win away.........I mean that is something
100% with muscle injuriesAre tired/fatigued players more prone to picking up injuries in general? Genuinely question i have no idea
Picking up an injury like this seems odd day before the game, should you not just being doing light prep work ahead of a match? Again genuine question as I don't know
It's not most games - use it just in the cups. No reason why it wouldn’t have worked either It’s not like we have conquered the “low block” playing as we do now. Son was the top scorer last year. It’s not
It’s most games though
We even had the analysis of it last year on here
Did Saudi Sportswashing Machine cope?
IIRC there were talks for him to be fired
And they were only in Europe pre Christmas and they lost to Chelsea in the quarters of the league cup
So they had loads of injuries and played less
Of course you can praise them! Point is it's a result in isolation, and far from those nine injuries are their first eleven players. We beat Emirates Marketing Project away 4-0, let's see if they are still doing it a couple of months later.....Even if you can't compare you can look at Bournemouth and praise a team with 10 injuries (including the replacement player for Solanke) and manage to get a 4-1 win away.........I mean that is something
Not really in isolation though it’s part of a 10 match unbeaten run. And Saudi Sportswashing Machine were on a 9 match unbeaten run.Of course you can praise them! It's not a comparison when they have longer preparation time tactically and physically to prepare for games every week. We don't have that luxury, and it's not just been the CBs at all. Ange has had to deal with Bentancur missing for ages due to stupidity who is our best CM, Bissouma doing his best to get suspended as often as possible, our best quality forward Richi who could have rotated with Solanke and other wide forwards injured as always, our young exciting wingers in Odobert and Moore who were already getting first team opportunities out for ages...need I go on? All well and good saying Ange should have rotated here there and everywhere weakening the team and then there will be complaints when we are knocked out of cups.
My heart bleeds for Bournemouth that they have a few injuries at the moment, let's see how they are still coping after a couple of months of it and even then they wouldn't of had all the midweek football we've had to endure.....
They didn’t copeWe haven't played any Europe post Christmas either yet so currently it's a comparable situation. I mean if we really can't compare to a team in Europe then I don't know what would satisfy you guys thirst for a fair comparison tbh
IDK how they coped that's why I'm offering it up - i know they had a very big injury list and that they struggled in the league for a while too
I think its also fair to ask why he was not taking players off like Solanke when 3 and 4 nil up in the 60th minute when we had chances too. Its caught up with us nowI read numerous articles about Ange’s teams a good one from the Athletic) last season, the gist of most of them was that Ange’s teams suffer injuries in the first season whilst they get adjusted to his methods, but things return to normal in the second half of the season. That clearly hasn’t happened this season. It can’t just be bad luck 2 seasons in a row. Whilst perhaps it’s unfair to lay the blame on Ange, I think its fair to ask why we are still getting so many injuries.
We tried it in the cup last week. Didn’t work against part timersIt's not most games - use it just in the cups. No reason why it would’ve have worked either It’s not like we have conquered the “low block” playing as we do now. Son was the top scorer last year.
They didn’t cope
They dropped liked a bomb
And everyone thought they should sank the manager

Mostly he’s out on the left. I think you need to vary where he plays. Do you remember second season Conte he similarly went into his shell? Everyone wrote him off then he had a storming season last year. As did Madders to start with until his injury. Both have retreated this season. Ange is the manager he needs to get the best out of them.We tried it in the cup last week. Didn’t work against part timers
Son was top scorer last season
He isn’t this season. There is a reason
YeahMostly he’s out on the left. I think you need to vary where he plays.
Unlikely that fatigue has anything to do with a knee injury. I broke my cartilage picking up a bag of groceries. My foot kind of got stuck, and the lift and twist broke it. So it can happen without any sort of hard workout. Are tired/fatigued players more prone to picking up injuries in general? Genuinely question i have no idea

CurrentlyThey finished 7th. We’re currently 15th mate.
