Said exactly the same, in those situations Johnson passes the runner on to Udogie and Johnson then takes Saka. It’s about taking the man nearest to you and not doing unnecessary running, it’s really quite a basic thing. You’ll see it happen all the time in those situations and it’s clearly what Udogie was expecting to happen.As i said in the match thread, it was lack of communication that led to the first goal as Udogie and Johnson ( who ran past Saka) both went to the overlapping runner. If Johnson had gone to Saka i think he puts him off / wins the ball as Saka had no idea he was behind him.
2 kids playing together for the first time, these things happen.
just bad communication by 2 kids playing in their first 15 minutes together. Not the end of the world.
