Its weird how clubs dont use the u21 or behind closed doors matches to get senior players up to speed nowadays. Must be horrible not being fully fit or just a squad player training every day without actually playing any proper football.

I thought he looked sharper and fitter than I'd anticipated, TBH. Still rusty, of course, but for a guy who has been out for over 500 days, not shabby at all.

The sharpness was indeed great to see. As others have stated he's been in and around the training pitch for quite some time so they've been building him up bit by bit. Clearly there's been no rush to get him back despite how desperate we might have been which is a good indicator for the future. Fewer risks are being taken when someone is 50/50 it seems. Hopefully leads to fewer long term absences where possible.

I don't know what the end goal is with these sorts of accounts but i see these made up interviews all over Facebook & Twitter these days with football, not often saying anything controversial but just completely fabricated - surely there's not enough ad revenue to make it worthwile?

That's disappointing, thought it was a great.

No idea why people would do that, but I'm sure if you throw enough out there you make some cash.

There's a RDZ one as well....was that real?

Thankfully in the long run it's another nail in the coffin for SM. Just watch the broadcaster/club pre/post match interviews and leave it at that.

What a load of bollox - everyone was delighted for Deki. Did you not read the interviews from Abraham Lincoln and Winston Churchill saying pretty much the same as Robertson?
