Dejan Kulusevski

he is a courageous character isn't he. takes on whoever and doesn't give up, putting body and limb into every contact and turning whichever way necessary to throw off his tracker.

earlier on, he had a habit of throwing a strop when players got tight on him and got marked out in games. glad to see he has progressed significantly since, and will be a role model for bergvall to follow.

i expect big clubs to be coming in for him soon.

he changed the game today, thats taking a game by the scruff of the neck and getting your team the win by sheer force of will

That wing role has always been a good one for him against City. Helps us hold the ball up and against them he gets the kind of space he thrives in when wide, even if isolated.

Really good move by Ange to put him out there and Maddison in the centre.

I get everyone loves a stat and that, the threads are littered with pilfered stuff from twittex etc, but I just watch him and think "he's bloody good, isn't he?!"
He really is and we don't need stats to back that up. Really rare combination of strength, stamina, vision and technique. Doesn't always work of course, but seems to have such great timing with so much of what he does. And seems to me really good at using his strengths to his best benefit.

Can so easily bully and physically out wrestle even strong opponents, but then can also just beat them with a nutmeg or a (usually) fairly subtle bit of skill or change of direction. Then he can also run all day and seems to have a great attitude.

He still needs that little bit of space and movement around him to be really effective. I'm not sure he would look comfortable dropping deep like Maddison did against City to play us out through pressure. But he's fantastic at what he does.

Thought he was disappointing today, despite the assist, and poor in the second half. Be interesting to see where he plays on Sunday...
Thought he did well as long as he had the energy to play. Was important to our attacking play. But he's not a player that can drop deep and playmake from there.

Somewhat concerning that a player that "doesn't get tired" was so clearly running on fumes towards the end. Same with Solanke. A lot of games coming up and we need their energy.

Hope he plays in midfield against Fulham, don't think that will be a good game for him to play wide. Or, and this may be controversial, that he's s rotated out, given a breather and given the chance to impact the game with an abundance of energy off the bench is needed.
