Think everyone was hoping it was just a dip in form! But yeh I hear ya.

Whatever happened to those spells where Porro was overlapping and they were causing chaos? Sometimes Kulusevski holds the ball up and I feel like he assumes someone will come overlap (or underlap if that's what it's called when Porro goes in front of him into the box). Do you think it's just not possible for Porro to get there that quickly on the counter or have those instructions been stopped?

Energy and fitness may have a effect
Also where is the midfield runner
It varies game to game
Against Arsenal he was great

But I think some of the players are lost in what is their role
It means they are making half moves… half tackles… half everything because they don’t know what they should be doing well enough, yet
I didn’t see a lack of effort just a lack of outcomes

There was certainly no effort to defend properly here. Why is he looking over his right shoulder?? Worried the ref might make a run at the ball?

His lack of fom can't be laid at the feet of the Ange system. He was equally dross for the entire 22/23 after being amazing for the last 6 months of 21/22. I remember during 22/23 I blamed his lack of form first on a slow return from injury he had and then on Conte bafflingly playing Richie on the right instead of Kulu, but the truth is when he did get back on the team he was as poor then as he is now.

It's not system related at all. His form has completely tailed off since the end of 21/22.
 
He has been poor for a good while.
Still don't understand why he doesn't play on the left in this system, his natural side and basically what Ange seems to want from his wide forwards. ie. getting to the byline to cross/cut back or on the end of low crosses from the opposite wing. Same for Johnson who looks far more comfortable on the right.

You can be lost and still bust a gut to close down of nearest man.

I stand by my view a load of them couldn't be arsed
 
He has wound me up, as has many others. But nice one on the goals.
Just hope everyone can find their form again
 
I'm not fully convinced by Kulu, he progresses the ball well and does have a few goals and assists, but his productivity/efficiency/end product could be better. Still young and new to the epl, time is on his side; but I think we need a challenger to keep him motivated. End season slump was unexpected and frustrating.

2.5 seasons isn’t new. He’s also 24 so not that young. He really hasn’t kicked on from his impressive start here and has gone backwards if anything.
