Davinson Sanchez

Sanchez had a poor game defensively today. He scored a goal from 1 meter, his 3rd goal în 5 years. I believe he is nowhere near what we need în CB and should offload him if a decent bid comes in. Romero is the only CB that is great and should start, while Dier is a decent bench player.

You said that in the game but I don’t agree
I thought he made one poor pass but beyond that was solid as he has been the last 3 games before hand

He's good enough for the rest of the season as an option behind Romero. Been playing well recently, long may it continue, but I struggle to see him as a long term solution.

If we get a really good offer in January we should consider it.

When Skipp was booked the Watford player dribble Sanchez like he wasn't even there, we were lucky the referee stopped the game. Had an embarrassing moment în the first half, a miss kick that let Watford in. Towards the end of the game he was lucky Winks came in and helped, otherwise he would have lost his man again. He was our poorest CB în the game, with Dier having just one brain fart moment and Davies none from what I saw. Bear în mind that Watford didn't have almost any chances and he was still exposed în my opinion. Cant wait for Romero to come back.

Personally, I thought he did pretty well defensively today. Can’t remember him doing too much wrong and he’s looked pretty solid to me the last few games. I wouldn’t have him in the team when Romero is back but until then, he’s probably earned a starting place. @IulianSteaua, I definitely didn’t see what you saw and I’m no fan of Sanchez at all.

Those 3 mistakes happened and against a team that didn't bother us that much. I look closely at him because I have heart palpitations when a high ball comes în and he has to kick it. It can go anywhere. Dier and Davies are no prizes either. Dier was on the right line of the 16 meters box and tried to kick the ball out field, only managed to put a high ball around the penalty spot with the box being full of Watford players. Didn't see Davies do brain farts today, but his latest în the Liverpool game cost us 2 points.

I think we should worry about getting rid of Rodon before Sanchez. As we play with a back most of the time we are not getting rid of both him and Rodon this window. We need 5 or 6 central defenders so Sanchez is going nowhere this window. By the way, what do you think is a "good offer"?
