I'm hearing that the official announcement that David Villa has signed for Spurs will happen tomorrow (Monday) at the same time our 2013-14 kits are unveiled.

Spurs signing David Villa would overshadow the revealing of the new kits. UA would want that day to be all about them and their new threads.
i don't particularly agree with this logic - for me UA announcing their new kits for Spurs would get minimal coverage world wide whereas Spurs signing a player of Villas fame on the same day and being paraded in that kit would get them much more attention
