You make it sound like they had been struggling and getting lucky results, but I'd argue that 92 pts with 94 goals scored and a CL final probably mean that their tactics work. I wouldn't mind at all if we could emulate them and their results.

No they beat all the teams that were inferior to them comfortably. Their tact is work against teams not as good as them to not as capable at playing with a discipline due to the calibre of players they have (inferior to pool)
They didn’t however beat teams of similar ish depth and structure. That’s almost flat track bullies TBH
I mean actually when you look at us under conte we were very much the same MO once his team knew the way to play.
They won’t two trophies without actually scoring a goal in 240 minutes. They lost the other final not scoring in 90 minutes.

He isn’t a name in the same league and his rd or didn’t as good… but he hasn’t played for dominant sides in BIG competitions either so he can Kenny do what he does for the team and players he has to play with

They created several good chances against Real Madrid but came up against a brilliant performance by the opposition keeper.

Regarding a decent option for us up front, I know it probably won’t be a popular opinion on here but I think Rashford could be a good option for us. Can play right across the front line, has the right character and helps with the association trained player count.

Rashford is a good player
But for me he is a big hit and miss
Also be wouldn’t be cheaper than Nunez IMO

I agree they played against a keeper who was excellent. But they also didn’t have shots on target form range which is courtois a child’s heel. I think that’s because their midfield aren’t attack minded
Hugo did nothing when we played them
Against Chelsea in the cup finals… I don’t remember keepers as MOTMs

Liverpool fans creaming their pants and talking about him in the same bracket as Haaland is hilarious. They have see him play twice and would have never heard of him before that. Its amazing how a youtube video or 2 can turn people into experts.

We would talk about winning again if joined us… he is alot like håland, but he dont have the same end product like Håland
