Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

IMO this place is pro ENIC on balance. I don’t want an echo chamber, it’s not good in any walk of life. I do find it funny that more posters don’t find an issue with statements like people who think Levy did a bad job are thick and saying other clubs are doping 😂 either they must secretly agree or the posts are too outlandish that they’re not worth responding to.
Why is it pro Levy, because you disagree?
If you want to focus on extreme posts it’s your perogative. That goes both ways though.

I think that the talk of this being the end game of what was started back when Charrington was first appointed is probably the truth of the matter - having Levy see the club through the summer transfer window before making the big move is probably the most sensible decision with that in mind and anything that did or didn't happen over the summer months wouldn't have factored in to any decision.
Charrington is a restructurer. I suspect from now on we’ll be trying to ensure the very best people are in our boardroom. This could be extremely positive for Spurs.

I admire Levy. I think he is a decent man and has done some very good things for Spurs (for which he was more than adequately compensated). He has also taken his eye off the ball on occasions and our boardroom was a hit of a joke.

So whats the overall opinion, do you think its a take over or as reported, just looking for fresh ideas?

I honestly don't know, it doesn't make sense, in any way.

If I was running a takeover of any club, I'd want Levy running it, his presence would make Spurs the primary target, he's one of, if not the best, administrator in sport. He will be getting offers from clubs all over the world.

A takeover would have had more noise, and ENIC would have wanted Levy negotiating surely?

If its just a new broom, it's a hell of risk, I think there is a 99.9% chance things go completely tits up.

On what planet was our boardroom a joke!?!? Come on man ha

There's a good chance levy will sell part or most of his shares unless he has intent to have a family member step up in years to come. He's 63, probably time to spend your money I would think.
lol, you think Levy is going to‘spend his money’? I’m sure he’ll continue investing in assets and trying to secure the future for generations of his family. He may indeed sell some of his THFC equity but I’d imagine it would only be to invest in something else.

Look at the outpouring over the last 10-15 pages. IMO it’s pro ENIC based on the number of posters who stick up for them. I just find it funny that those posts tend to fly under the radar. But challenging a post of that ilk seems to attract more posters responding.

Ok so because you disagree with people acknowledging what Levy’s done for us it’s pro Levy?

We can only guess how much better it would have been with you in charge.

You need to cut to the nitty gritty, how much is Charrington being paid?

We've improved more than any other club in the game that hasn't cheated.

Of course there is appreciation.
