Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

Which is fair enough the far left in equal measure

And just to add in Asian in heritage and don’t think it’s just about racism, far right etc. and yes there probably are some that are jumping on the issue and trying to push their agenda. But to simply say it’s just one thing it’s simply not true.

The main issue seems to be illegal entry, playing the system, getting more than others in this country who should be taken care of first.

I think thats false equivalence, I'm equally against the far left too, I think Corbyn and his ilk would be very dangerous in power, but they are not out there inciting people to burn down hotels with people in them.

I don't believe asylum seekers are playing the system, they certainly didn't build the system, and they certainly don't get more than others in this country, there are a lot of lies out there on this subject.

Thats not what I said though is it, I said those who thought he had done a bad job were thick as brick, those who refused to accept he had done anything to benefit the club.

I disagreed with Levy's actions on many things myself, but vehemently backed his overall stewardship.

Again this won’t go down well on such a pro ENIC forum but it’s not unreasonable to think that. On balance he did a good job but not good enough on the football side of things which is why we support the club.

I don't know what others have experienced but today I ran into 3 West Ham fans that I hadn't seen for a while (and one was towards the end of last season when we played them away). We talked about next week's game, and about our respective last games against Bournemouth and Forest, and the City game for us and their Cheatski and Wolves disasters. At no point did any of them mention Levy stepping down. I wonder how much the rest of the football world - fans at least - are really interested in what's happening with us?
I’ve had fans from loads of clubs WhatsApp’s me and ask what will be different … which IMO is nothing

I think it's massively unreasonable to think that.

He turned us into one of the mega clubs, we are one of the biggest franchises in world sport now.

You can't solely look at trophy count in the modern game, that is also unreasonable, but even if you do, its not far off the average for the 140 years pre Levy, and our average league finish, not to mention number of continental tournament involvements, is way higher.

Not solely but trophies are the true currency of success. It’s a huge reason why so many players flock to Real Madrid and Barcelona. We went trophyless for the first decade since the 1940s in the last decade. We are a big club but we are not a mega club. You have to have won more league titles than we have and at least one CL to be called that. The mega clubs are the above plus Bayern, Man United, Liverpool, PSG, Emirates Marketing Project, AC Milan, Juve and Inter.

Does this mean that PSG have only been a mega club for 12 weeks? Are Forest and Villa mega clubs? Are Feynoord and Porto mega clubs?

How do you grade chairs of clubs not in a position to even compete for league or European trophies.

Are they all doing a bad job?

Wait, I thought Tavistock did own ENIC? As per Wiki and this:

The main holding company of the Club is Tottenham Hotspur Limited (“THL”), incorporated in the UK with its registered address at Lilywhite House.

85.6% of the share capital of THL is owned by ENIC Sports Inc., which is in turn 100% owned by ENIC International Limited (“ENICIL”); both of these entities are incorporated in the Bahamas. 14.4% of THL is owned by private shareholders, most likely fans who took the opportunity to purchase shares when they were readily available through previous flotation on the London Stock Exchange.

ENICIL is in turn ultimately owned 70.6% by Joe Lewis and 29.4% by Daniel Levy, although the mechanism by which these shares are held is not entirely clear. ENICIL is listed as part of the Tavistock Group, which appears to be the vehicle through which Joe Lewis manages his interests in a multiplicity of companies spanning property, hospitality, restaurants, energy retail, technology, agriculture and finance (Portfolio – Tavistock Group). The precise legal form of the Tavistock Group is unclear – it bills itself as an “international investment organisation” and does not publish financial statements. Joe Lewis is assumed to own 100% of Tavistock but there is some unverifiable online comment suggesting there may be a small number of minority interests.
I want to return to this, since nobody really acknowledged it!

Lewis owns Tavistock. Tavistock owns ENIC. ENIC owns Spurs. The 2 Co-CEO's of Tavistock Group are Nick Beucher and Josh Levy.

Vivienne Lewis and Charles Lewis are merely Senior MD's. See below.

So how much was Josh Levy involved in the removal of his dad... he must have known, right?

If he was, he’s getting a clip around the ear and he’s not allowed to borrow the Aston again.

Just because people disagree with you it doesn’t mean it’s a pro ENIC space! If you give good balancing arguments people will get on board.

If you want an echo chamber of anti Levy sentiments then Twitter, bbc, MSM, etc etc is your place

No, they’ve been a sizeable club for at least 5-10 years, they just rubber stamped their status as an elite club by winning the CL. Ditto Emirates Marketing Project. Forest and Villa haven’t been relevant in terms of challenging for major domestic or European honours for 30 years.

IMO this place is pro ENIC on balance. I don’t want an echo chamber, it’s not good in any walk of life. I do find it funny that more posters don’t find an issue with statements like people who think Levy did a bad job are thick and saying other clubs are doping 😂 either they must secretly agree or the posts are too outlandish that they’re not worth responding to.
