Daniel Levy - Chairman

In your opinion. Do you think Emirates Marketing Project or Chelsea fans care if they get titles stripped from them? They can’t take the memories away. As of now, they’ve not been significantly punished for gaming the system.

I think we should spend more money 100%

If we won a title then 10 years later it was stripped I would care though, 1 the new memory replaces the old in terms of where that title sits, to have a title removed would be fairly shameful in footballing terms

With respect, I don’t think I’m the one missing the point, it’s not two different entities, it’s not even two sides of the same coin, everything is interlinked.

Football is a complicated system, success isn’t just about what you do, it’s about the competency of others and timing, not to mention the resource differential.

I see logic in every appointment, even the current one, and all managers have been backed as much as the business has been able to afford.

You saw logic in appointing Mason and Stellini? You saw logic in appointing Ange?

Mason and Stellini were caretakers.

Yes on Ange, it was a punt sure, but, Levy wanted an attacking coach, partly I think, because of the fanbase reaction to Jose and Conte.
It's well documented that Ange was down the list of choices. Considering we couldn't entice an experienced manager at the top level I suppose we had to give him a go. It's now blatantly obvious he isn't up to it, and I am totally confused why Levy has given him so long considering our appalling results.

However, this thread is about Levy, and what people forget is that although he is a major share holder in Enic, he isn't the owner. To be honest I can't understand why people are shouting for his head, surely it should be Enic. That said, even if the club is sold it will only be to other owners who want to make a quick buck, as Billionaires who want to treat the club as a play thing don't come along often. If Levy or Enic were to be replaced tomorrow it won't make any difference to whether we stay in the Premiership or not, sacking Ange will!
