Oh and btw @Baleforce how ironic would it be if we were to get relegated this season after decades of people arguing “be careful what you wish for” and we might “do a Leeds” if we were to have different owners?!
Everyone is entitled to question anything and everythingThings won’t change if do nothing I agree, that’s why fans need to make their voices heard, or vote with their feet. I find it really odd how people deride the protesters. Almost like they should have endless patience and never question anything.
Everyone is entitled to question anything and everything
And to protest you need to start somewhere but with an end goal in mind
Chanting we want levy out is words… but can’t work because it doesn’t end with what happens next. The outcome
My daughter has been talking a lot about the suffragettes and the suffragists. She is learning about them at school.
One lot was passive although supportive …., everyone knows the other side though, because they got what they wanted by being fully active, taking things to the extreme and left the mark. But the other side, the suffragist were key because they created the scale. The scale is what’s missing behind the Enic out movement because most people are ambivalent. And they ambivalent because they can’t see what the outcome is intended to be.
They want new owners. The tone on here is that people shouldn’t protest and they’re crazy for being unhappy with the owners we have. The starting point is always to get rid of the manager or owner, then you get the person you want to replace them. Or you could do it like West Ham and flirt with your next manager in public whilst asking the current lame duck coach to take training.
What are you protesting for though? That’s why it doesn’t workGreat post.
Not sure that you need to have an end goal in mind to have a right to protest about the status quo though. I actually think it is OK to recognise something ain't right, whilst not knowing the solution yourself. Your instinct and honesty should be respected.
I actually think football fans do quite a lot of that.

Nope, not even close. For years i've been vocally anti levy, like a small minority.
Do we think this is now a majority? Surely now, people can finally see why he's not fit to run our club? sooner he's gone the better. Dont need to hear the "better the devil you know" lark. For me, he's a business man here to make money. And he's done that well. but the fans should demand better. hopefully now folks wake up to the fact he's not interested in on pitch success. it's a culture issue from the top.
But who do they want, and want do they want from them?
But what would work is if 20 blokes sat in different parts if the stadium and all had flares they set offNope, not even close.
There a lot of vocal social media accounts, however, amounts to nothing in the actual real world, still the same 20ish blokes with banners opposite the club shop and lately they've not even bothered.
Will be very interested to see what the protest planned for the Leicester game actually is... 20 blokes with some balloons won't be seen in a stadium of over 60,000, especially on a game that's not on TV.
But what would work is if 20 blokes sat in different parts if the stadium and all had flares they set off
That’s the next level
It’s stadium bans though and they don’t want that
In Germany when protest they tennis balls in the pitch. Works a treat if done on mass
No but it makes a mark for a potential other ownerdoes it though, did the owners say "you know what, we hear you, we'll sell our shares cheap so someone else can have a go"?
What are you protesting for though? That’s why it doesn’t work
You have to have a reason and a need.., that need shows the outcome ..l think NOSE
Need
Outcome
Solutions
Evidence
So we need a change if ownership.
The outcome of the new ownership should be owners who will take over and make the club progress forward
The solution is they invest more money.,, make tickets cheaper … paint the walls pink (whatever works)
Look at the evidence shown at club 1 with new owners and the pink walls
You win the argument and you win hearts and minds. Instead what w shave is a lot of shouting in reality.msome may be heard but most won’t because there is nothing to hear.
You okay in bands … there is reason some songs work and some don’t. What’s the hook. What is that ear worm that works for the levy out campaign. What’s gonna make people dad dance or make a young person go wow.
Back to an analogy, my 11 year old is learning piano.
She wants to learn Mr Brightside. It’s got the hook. It’s got the signaling part (the bit everyone knows and can support). It’s rimless because it works. She doesn’t like the Killers, she dies t know any of their other songs but she heard this once and was like wow.,. I can back that. I can dance to that.. “daddy, what does she takes off her dress now actually mean?”
No but it makes a mark for a potential other owner
It makes them realise fans may back them
Doesn’t mean that the new owner may exist
Right now what we see at games is the guy doing the Jesus preaching and the Levy out collective
I’d say that Jesus out guy has more traction because he is clear in what he is saying and sticks with it
Agreed, Jesus out! Jesus out!that Jesus out guy has more traction
