Cristian Romero

I can't abide abusing the head injury rule, it's there to protect players, not for game management. And even then, fine be a clam in that regard, it's only basic respect and decency i guess. but that challenge you mention was borderline reckless, it's always in there and didn't cost us last night.
I'm confused what you are referencing here.
I think Romero went down right near the end, after he and Danso clashed heads, and he was bleeding from the back of his head wasn't he?

Admittedly, I was watching on a pretty poor start stop stream*, I didn't see any blood - It looked like a typical "making the most of any innocuous contact to the head / face" situation, but I am glad if I was mistaken!

*Went to the pub with my old man, to find out the united game had already been requested, so we had a nice pint in the sunshine instead of watching the 1st half. Annoyingly, the walkabout seems to be the only place that can possibly have two different games on at the same time, even if it seems like you're asking the staff to perform emergency surgery on a kangaroo....

My local turns into Delboys mobile phones sketch if you ask for channels to be changed, one button pushed and the driers come on in the toilets.

I think we would happily sell for the right price
But the right price for us isn’t what a club will value a player who only plays his half clubs games will be valued at
It's always going to be a negotiation, and Levy will always get a good price. Romero on his day is one hell of a defender and there's bound to be a strong link with Simeone. Worst case is that Atletico refuse (or aren't able to) stump up what Levy wants, Romero doesn't get on with whoever our new manager is (I really cannot see Ange being here next season), and we end up with a top player sulking until we can shift him for a much lower price.

The latter is what will happen IMO
It has Toby vibes but without the same level of talent

I wont miss him

I will. He was played into the ground with little rest due to club and International commitments. He is one of the best centre backs about and if he’s here next season, he will show that as no International commitments in the summer so he can fully rest.

I think many of those who wish him to be gone will soon regret their wish when we see who replaces him and just how well Romero performs elsewhere.

Played into the ground? How?
He has been fit to play for us just over 55% of the games.
