I see no point in him flying back to England when he is back in Argentina trying to heal.

Yeah seems like the decision was made a week ago and it's a rush for cuti to heal himself.

That said the optics are bad on this one, not just on the fans. Cuti will lose some loyalty from his colleagues

You seem to be missing the point - No one was suggesting he had run off without permission. The fact is as usual the captain who is paid handsomely by his club is prioritising his national team ahead of the clubs most important game for years.

It's rehab not keyhole surgery. He could and would have continued his rehab here for a few more days before leaving to Argentina after this game if he wanted but no - as usual he can't wait to run off back to Argentina. Captains usually go above and beyond, the saddest thing there is no surprise whatsoever he has chosen to do this....

I’m not missing any point champ. It’s just another fudging day of Tottenham imploding. Fans kicking off without knowing the whole story, creating more fudging negative garbage around the club.

I think the last line is telling: this only matters because it fits the narrative that Romero is a player who only cares about himself.

Honestly think we will miss a trick if we don't give Davies a role at the club.

He will want to play for another year or two i think. If thats us in the Championship all well and good. If we stay up he will be at Wrexham or Catduffbibthink.
